Getting Started

How do I start reading?

Once you download the Worldly app and create an account (or sign in as a guest), you can browse the story library from the home screen. Tap any story to start reading. Your progress is automatically saved, so you can pick up where you left off anytime.

How do choices work?

In branching stories, you'll encounter decision points where you can choose how the story continues. Simply tap one of the options to proceed. Your choices shape your unique path through the story. You can always go back and try different choices to explore alternative storylines.

Can I change my choices?

Yes! Use the backtrack feature to return to previous sections and make different choices. This lets you explore all the different paths and endings in branching stories.

What age is Worldly appropriate for?

Worldly is designed for young readers, typically grades 2-8 (ages 7-14). Each story is tagged with a grade level range to help you find age-appropriate content. We offer the same classics adapted for different reading levels.

Stories & Content

How many stories are available?

We currently offer 13+ stories, including adapted classics like Alice in Wonderland, Treasure Island, Tom Sawyer, and original stories like Squad 66. We're regularly adding new stories and expanding existing ones.

Are the stories safe for kids?

Yes. All content is carefully reviewed and rated for appropriate grade levels. Worldly has:

  • No ads or in-app purchases
  • No social features or chat
  • No user-generated content from other readers
  • Age-appropriate adaptations of classic literature

What's the difference between linear and branching stories?

Linear stories are traditional narratives that follow the classic storyline from beginning to end. They're great for readers who want to experience a timeless tale in its original form.

Branching stories offer full choose-your-own-adventure gameplay with multiple paths and endings. These are perfect for readers who want to make choices, explore different possibilities, and replay stories to find all the outcomes.
